Old Fashioned Lemonade

6 servings



1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
(about 6 large lemons)
1 to 1 1/4 cups sugar
(or about 30 packets of Equal)
4 1/4 cups cold water
lemon slice
Combine lemon juice and sugar in a large pitcher; stir until sugar dissolves. Add water and lemon slices; stir well, and chill. Serve over ice with lemon slices. Yield: 1 1/2 Quarts (serving size: 1 cup)

Note: To make decorative lemon ice cubes, place a twist of lemon inside each ice cube before freezing
